Your Travel
Photographer & Videographer

You plan the trip. We come along and document it like a film — so the best days of your life get better coverage than your phone.

How a travel commission works

The model is simple: you cover travel and lodging, and we bring a full cinema kit and the eye that shoots premium brand work the rest of the year. From the day rate on, everything is quoted up front — no surprise line items.

We embed with your trip at whatever level you want: a discreet documentarian who disappears into the background, or a creative director who scouts the golden-hour spots and builds a shot list around your itinerary. Either way you come home with a color-graded gallery and a cinematic travel film — not a camera roll you'll never edit.

The trips people commission

Destination celebrations — milestone birthdays, anniversaries, proposals, family reunions abroad. Brand and business travel — retreats, incentive trips, conferences worth documenting. The cigar circuit — factory tours, festivals, lounge crawls; as the studio behind a nationally-covered cigar lounge, we speak the culture fluently. And honest-to-goodness vacations where you simply want every day covered by someone who knows what they're doing.

Destination weddings are their own craft — see the dedicated destination wedding page.

What it costs

Commissions start at $1,100 per travel day plus expenses (flights, lodging, and a per-diem, all agreed before anything is booked). Multi-day trips are where the model shines — the per-day rate steps down as the trip gets longer, and the coverage compounds: by day three we know your group's rhythm and the footage shows it. Every commission is scoped on a free call; you'll have a written quote before you commit a dollar.

Why bring a professional instead of a phone

Because someone has to be in the photos — and it should be you. A dedicated shooter means every member of the trip actually appears in the story, the light gets used instead of fought, and the film that comes back is something you'll show people for decades. FAA Part 107 licensed for aerial coverage where local rules allow, fully insured, and experienced at working unobtrusively in premium spaces.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked

How much does it cost to bring a photographer on a trip?
From $1,100 per travel day plus expenses (flights, lodging, per-diem — all quoted and agreed up front). Multi-day trips get a stepped-down day rate. A free consultation call produces a written all-in quote before you book anything.
Do we pay for your flights and hotel?
Yes — travel and lodging are on the client, quoted transparently before the commission is confirmed. We book economically unless you prefer we travel with your group's arrangements.
What do we get afterward?
A color-graded photo gallery delivered within two weeks of return, and a cinematic travel film cut from the trip. Social-ready clips along the way can be included if you want to post while traveling.
Will you shoot our destination wedding or proposal?
Absolutely — proposals fold neatly into a travel commission (we're very good at being invisible until the moment). Full destination weddings are scoped on our destination wedding page.
Can you fly your drone abroad?
Where local regulations allow it, yes — we're FAA Part 107 licensed in the US and research each destination's drone rules before the trip. If a country restricts drone use, we tell you up front rather than risk your footage.
