NVAR Studios LLCwants every person who visits this site to be able to see the work, understand the pricing, and book a session — regardless of how they browse the web. This page explains the standard we hold the site to, what we’ve done, and how to reach a real person if something here doesn’t work for you.
Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These are the internationally recognized guidelines for making web content usable by people with visual, hearing, motor, and cognitive disabilities.
What we’ve done
This site is built and maintained with accessibility as part of the work, not an afterthought. Specifically:
- Keyboard access.Every interactive element — navigation, galleries, forms, booking, video controls — can be operated without a mouse, with a visible gold focus indicator showing where you are. Menus and photo viewers keep focus inside them while open and return it where you left off.
- Screen readers. Images carry descriptive alternative text, headings follow a logical order, form fields have real labels, and status messages (like a sent contact form) are announced.
- Captions. Videos with speech carry English caption tracks.
- Contrast and text size. Text is checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios, and the site reflows without loss of content when zoomed to 200%.
- Motion. If your device requests reduced motion, slideshows, parallax, and autoplaying video stop automatically. Moving content can also be stopped on the page itself.
- Touch targets. Controls are sized to be operable without precise aim.
Where we know we fall short
Being honest is more useful than claiming perfection. Known limitations as of the date above:
- Portfolio galleries contain many photographs, and their alternative text describes the category and setting rather than every detail of each individual frame.
- Booking runs on our own scheduler, so we can fix anything that gets in your way. The payment step happens inside Stripe, whose interface we don’t control. If any part of it blocks you, contact us and we will book you directlyby phone or email — no online form required.
- Short-form social video reposted from Instagram may not carry captions when the original had none.
If something doesn’t work, tell us
This matters more than the rest of this page. If any part of this site creates a barrier for you, we want to know — and we’ll fix it or get you what you needed another way.

We aim to respond within two business days. Please tell us the page you were on and what happened — that’s usually enough for us to reproduce and fix it. If you need information from this site in another format (large print, plain text, or read aloud over the phone), just ask.
How we test
We test with automated tooling (axe / Lighthouse accessibility audits) on the site’s main pages, plus manual keyboard-only passes on navigation, galleries, forms, and the booking flow. Accessibility checks run as part of significant site updates, and issues reported by visitors are treated as priority fixes.
