Most photographers describe their process in marketing language — "magical journey," "your vision brought to life," "let's tell your story." Here's the real version, step by step. Every shoot follows this path. No surprises, no scope creep, no being left in the dark.
Day 0 · 30 minutes
Free 30-min consultation
A real conversation about your wedding, brand, or project — your venue, your audience, your timeline, what you want the photos to feel like. No pitch, no pressure. Most consultations end with a clear sense of what tier or scope fits and whether we are the right photographer for you. Sometimes the honest answer is "you might want someone different" and we will tell you that too.
What we deliver
A scoped recommendation and a 7-day date hold
What you do
Bring your venue (or location), date, rough headcount, and any visual references that have caught your eye. 30 minutes total.
Within 48 hours of the call
Custom proposal + contract
A line-itemed proposal lands in your inbox within 48 hours. Plain English. Exact deliverables, timeline, payment schedule, and licensing. The contract is one document — no surprise add-ons later, no scope creep clauses. If you have questions or want to adjust scope, we revise. The proposal holds your date for 7 days.

What you do
Review the proposal, ask any questions, sign the contract, pay the 50% retainer to lock the date.
30 days before the event
Pre-shoot planning
For weddings: a planning call to lock the timeline, family-formals list, special requests, and any logistical details. We coordinate with your venue and other vendors so the day runs without friction. For commercial: a creative brief, shot list, location scout, and pre-production schedule. Everything you need to know before the shoot day is settled in writing.

What you do
Schedule a 30-min planning call. Send your wedding planner contact (if any) and family-formal preferences. Final payment due 14 days before the event.
The day itself
Shoot day
We arrive prepared. For weddings, that means scouting the venue 30 minutes before getting-ready coverage starts, having the timeline memorized, knowing where every key shot should happen, and bringing redundant gear (two camera bodies, dual SD slots writing to both simultaneously, backup batteries and cards). For commercial, that means showing up with the agreed gear, the agreed creative direction, and a single point of contact for the day. We do our job so you can do yours.

A full day of intentional coverage
What you do
Be present, trust the timeline, let us worry about the photos. If anything changes day-of, tell us — we adapt.
1–3 weeks after the shoot
Editing + color grade
Every wedding photo is hand-culled, color-graded, and edited in our signature dark-luxury cinematic style. We don't use AI-batch presets that flatten every wedding into the same look. Each gallery gets a unique color treatment that fits the venue's actual light and your wedding's mood. Commercial work is color-corrected to match brand standards (if you have a guide) or built into a brand-consistent look (if you don't).

Color-graded, retouched, web + print-ready images
What you do
Nothing — this is on us. You can DM us asking how it's going if you want a sneak peek.
On or before the date in the contract
Gallery delivery
The full edited gallery delivered via a private online gallery — yours for 1 year minimum, with download access, print release, and full-resolution files. For weddings: 48-hour sneak peek of 10–15 favorites within 2 days of the wedding, full gallery within 2 weeks for Signature, 1 week for Heirloom. For commercial: 2-week standard, rush available. No upsells gated behind your photos.

What you do
Share, print, post, frame. Tag us if you share — we love seeing your favorites in the wild.
Optional · within 60 days of gallery
Album design + post-delivery
For Heirloom couples, we design your fine-art album within 60 days of gallery delivery — first proof free, two revision rounds included, archival-paper printed and shipped. For Signature couples, the same album upgrade is available a la carte. For all couples, we send a referral request at the 60-day mark — if you loved working with us and want to refer a friend, that's the most meaningful thing you can do for our business.
What we deliver
Heirloom-grade printed album (Heirloom tier) + lifetime gallery access
What you do
Review album proofs within 14 days. Refer friends if the experience was worth it.
