Making taste visible
The Harvest Table is a farm-to-table restaurant in Lincoln that needed imagery capturing the beauty and intentionality of their seasonal menu. Every dish tells a story of local farmers and fresh ingredients.
We spent a full day photographing their signature dishes, the cooking process, and the warm atmosphere of the restaurant. The images now drive their social media, website, and menu design.
The Challenge
Capturing freshness before it fades
Food photography is a race against time. We had to work quickly while the dishes were fresh, capturing the steam, the glisten, and the perfect presentation before it wilted under the lights.
Our Solution
Efficient workflow, natural light
We set up near the restaurant's large windows, using natural light supplemented with reflectors. The kitchen prepared dishes in batches, giving us multiple attempts to capture each plate at its peak.
